Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Introduction

The general Terms and Conditions of Supply detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the buyer (hereafter referred to as You) and the trader Smart Labels NZ Limited (hereafter referred to as Smart Labels NZ). By ordering goods, you unreservedly accept our terms and conditions, having read them. 

  1. How the contract between You and Smart Labels NZ is formed

No contract exists between You and Smart Labels NZ for the sale of any goods until we have received payment for your order.  Upon receipt of this payment and order we will send you a confirmation, and this becomes a binding legal contract between us.

  1. Product Description and Presentation 

Pre-printed Barcode Labels have a pressure sensitive, heat activated adhesive.  All labels are packaged with application instructions and protective iron on paper to protect the garment. To ensure correct adhesion of the label to the garment these instructions must be followed correctly.  Edges and corners must be pressed correctly to ensure they do not peel off.  Labels should not be ironed onto delicate fabrics which require a cool temperature. We do not take responsibility for fabrics scorched when undergoing application on delicate fabrics such as silk, chiffon and wool.  We suggest you press the iron on label onto the garment tag/label when apploying to delicate fabrics.   

  1. Price of the Goods 

The price of the goods you order include a delivery charge when you reach the checkout page on the website.  Any change in pricing will be advised prior to any label printing. 

  1. Payment 

All orders will be despatched upon receipt of payment.

  1. Fulfilment and Delivery

We aim to fulfil and despatch your order within 48 hours Monday to Friday. If on receipt of your order there should be a delay, we will inform you directly.  If there is a hold up due to the despatch company we will endeavour to advise you as soon as possible.

  1. Ownership of the goods

Ownership of the goods will pass to you upon our receipt of full payment of all sums due in respect of the order.

  1. Return Policy 

If there is a problem with your order please contact us within seven days of delivery in order for us to correct the situation. We will gladly reproduce any order if the mistake was caused at our end.  If the name on the label is due to misspelling by the you then we can not refund this order.

       9.    Order Cancellation 

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, we are happy to do so as long as the order is not yet in production but please note that orders are normally produced on the day of receiving it.  Some miscellaneous cancellation charges may still apply due to payment costs, artwork, set-up, pre-printing, etc. i. If your order is already in production it will not be possible to cancel.

      10.    Care Instructions

To keep the label in its best condition, you must follow the special care instructions which are despatched with the labels. Notify us immediately if there is a problem. 

      11.   Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Smart Labels NZ Ltd. In the event that labels sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
